Govardhan Parikrama Tour
Govardhan Parikrama Tour
21 km Sacred Circumambulation of Giriraj Ji Β· The Living Form of Lord Krishna
The Most Sacred Parikrama of Braj Dham
The Govardhan Parikrama is one of the holiest pilgrimages in all of Vaishnavism. This 21 km circumambulation of the sacred Govardhan hill β which Lord Krishna Himself lifted on His little finger to shelter the people of Braj from Indra’s wrath β is considered among the most spiritually powerful acts a devotee can perform.
Govardhan Parvat is not just a hill. According to the scriptures, the entire Govardhan mountain is the living, breathing form of Lord Krishna Himself β known as Giriraj ji. Circumambulating Govardhan is therefore equivalent to circumambulating Lord Krishna. Every stone, every tree, every inch of this 21 km parikrama path is divine.
Along the parikrama route lie some of the most sacred spots in all of Braj β Radha Kund and Shyam Kund (the holiest kunds), the breathtaking Kusum Sarovar, Manasi Ganga, Mukharvind Mandir, Daan Ghati, Govind Kund, Punchari Ka Lautha and many more. Each spot has its own divine leela and story.
Our expert Braj guides walk or ride with you through every step of the Govardhan Parikrama β narrating the divine Krishna leelas at each sacred spot with deep devotion and detailed knowledge. This is not just a walk β it is a transformative spiritual experience.
